Smoking On Japanese Streets, Seunghan RIIZE Apologizes To Fans In A Written Letter

JAKARTA - Seunghan RIIZE wrote a letter apologizing to fans. This is related to a number of photos and videos of his past that were spread on the internet.

Hello, this is Seunghan. First, I want to say I'm very sorry. I really know my past actions hurt a lot of people. I reflect sincerely," Seunghan wrote via the Weverse platform.

"I also want to apologize to the fans who support me and the RIIZE members," he said.

Seunghan admitted that he was taking time to reflect on his mistakes. He did not explain any of the controversial allegations that dragged him.

I reflect on myself and the fact that I made a loss when I was supposed to work hard and focus on what I did. I will continue to reflect and look inside myself so that I can become a better person," he said.

"Once again, I apologize to the members, fans, and staff," concluded Seunghan.

Previously, SM Entertainment stated that Seunghan would undergo a period of hiatus from his activities with RIIZE.

A number of photos and videos circulating on the internet show Seunghan allegedly smoking in Japan, discussing other singers with fellow singers.

The agency also stated that it would take legal action for people who disseminate Seunghan's false information. On the other hand, RIIZE will start activities with six members starting this week.

SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan would hiatus from RIIZE until an indefinite time.

"Seunghan sincerely apologizes and reflects the disappointment and confusion experienced by the team and members and fans because of issues related to his personal life.

Seunghan felt the burden and responsibility and after taking into account, he made the best decision for the team.

He expressed his intention to suspend his activities. We respect his opinion and decide to suspend his activities indefinitely," said SM Entertainment.
