JAKARTA - Mr. Film & Mrs. Smith in 2005 will reboot in television serial format for the Amazon Prime streaming service.

Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be the pair for the serial version. Last week, the two stars announced the news via Instagram Story.

The duet of Glover and Waller-Bridge was also warmly welcomed by Amazon Studios. "It is truly a dream for us and a global audience that the two stars collaborate as a creative team."

Their ability in acting and composing stories is not in doubt. They are also appointed as executive producers for this series.

Waller-Bridge is known for writing the BBC series Killing Eve and the unreleased film No Time to Die.

Meanwhile, Donald Glover won several awards such as Emmy Awards and dozens of awards in the music category with the stage name Childish Gambino.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, played by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, tells of a husband and wife who turn out to be rivals with each other.

Mr. Serial. & Mrs. Smith will go live from 2022 on Amazon Prime.
