JAKARTA - Film lovers are certainly looking forward to the Jakarta World Cinema Week (JWCW) again being held on November 11-19 2023 at CGV Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta. Because this international film festival will present 90 films from 54 countries.

JWCW 2023 will be opened by the film Inshallah a Boy (Yordania) written and directed by Amjad Al-Rasheed, and closed by the film Shayda (Australia) directed by Noora Niasari. In addition, several films that have won awards at international film festivals will also be shown, such as the Monster (Japan) by Hirokazu Kore-eda, the winner of the Palme d'Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, and Catherine Corsini's Anatomy of a Fall (France), the winner of the Grand Prix at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
