5 Indictments Sentenced To Yoo Ah In Over Drug Abuse Cases

JAKARTA - Actor Yoo Ah In is still in the spotlight of netizens in South Korea because he stumbled on a drug abuse case some time ago. Unfortunately, this 37-year-old actor had to catch a case in the midst of a successful career.

On Thursday, October 19, reported by VOI from Allkpop.com, the Seoul Central District Attorney's Office officially indicted actor Yoo Ah In on five different charges. One of them is Yoo Ah-in's habit of using five different illegal drugs.

He himself is suspected of having used illegal drugs called defol from September 2020 to March 2022 which he obtained from a hospital in Seoul for cosmetic procedures 181 times.

Furthermore, the police also found that the Hellbound drama player abused 4 types of illegal drugs such as defol, midazolam, ketamina, and remimazolam.

Then, from May 2023 to August 2022, Yoo Ah-in was caught having a prescription of two different types of sleeping pills as many as 44 times that he bought using other people's names.

It didn't stop there, in January 2023, Yoo Ah-in was caught using marijuana in the United States with 5 colleagues, one of whom was known as Choi. In addition, Yoo Ah-in is also suspected of having forced other people to participate in the use of these illegal drugs.

Finally, in this case Yoo Ah-in will be tried on charges of violations of the Narcotics Control Act, the use of marijuana and coercion against others, attempts to destroy evidence, violations of the Media Service Act, and fraud.

Now the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office is still investigating the alleged use of cocaine which was also carried out by Yoo Ah-in, while he is awaiting trial.
