The Excitement Story Of Asha Smara Darra And Jajang C. Noer When Filming Sara

JAKARTA - Senior artists Jajang C. Noer and Asha Smara Darra alias Oscar Lawalata competed in one of the films that will conduct a world premiere at the 2023 Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) entitled 'Sara'. This film is produced by the Film-Business Production House, Basbeth's Storyroom, and Visionari Capital Film Fund and directed by Ismail Basbeth.

Taking a location in one of the villages in Central Java, both Jajang C. Noer and Asha Smara Darra, had interesting stories from behind the scenes during the shooting process. In the press conference for the film Sara, Jajang C. Noer said that he had no trouble playing his character as Saidah.

But what impressed during the shooting process was when they had to live in one of the residents' houses. Where he told me that he slept on the floor and only had a thin bed. Not only that, he and his best friend, Christine Hakim, who also played in this film had difficulty using the squatting toilet.

"Playing it is not difficult, because a player will give up his body and soul who directs him, this general, whatever we want, we are ready. What is difficult is where he lives. So, that place, Kemujing huh? The gossip is a bumpy land, where my shoes are big like this, then we sleep on the floor, it's very thin, the mattress," said Jajang C. Noer in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Monday, October 2.

"This water is really cold, Christine just boils the water for the bath, I don't, I immediately. The toilet, the toilet is on the edge of the river, because there the toilet is squatting, so I can imagine Christine squatting and squatting, it can't be done let alone standing. The guide is the same. The bath is a big bathtub, there are fish, you know. But it's fun and we're happy," he continued.

Not only Jajang C. Noer who has an exciting story, Asha as the main character in this film, Sara also shared her experience. Where he felt closer to the natives in the village because he lived in the same house. In fact, he even bought typical hawker forest honey in the village.

"Yes, it's true that we are in the same house. Every night there is a goat's voice and it's interesting that we live in a resident's house, so that's where we meet the residents, who are also local residents, so we can taste the food around, I buy forest honey," continued Asha.
