8 Hours Examined, Amanda Manopo Asked 34 Questions About Online Gambling Promotion

JAKARTA - Artist Amanda Manopo has finished undergoing an examination related to the promotion of the online gambling site on Monday, October 2, evening. About 34 questions were raised by investigators against him.

"Clarification to sister Amanda Manopo is carried out for approximately 8 hours from 12.00 to 20.00 WIB with 34 questions," said Director of Cyber Crime at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Adi Vivid in his statement, Tuesday, October 3.

It was not detailed about what investigators were investigating or the context of the dozens of questions that Amanda had answered.

It was only conveyed that the examination of Amanda Manopo was originally scheduled for Friday, September 22. However, for certain reasons, it was rescheduled on October 2, yesterday.

"The examination of the person concerned should have been carried out on Friday, September 22, 2023, but the person concerned asked to be rescheduled on Monday, October 2, 2023," said Adi Vivid.

Amanda Gabriella Manopo Lugue alias Amanda Manopo admitted that her promotion was related to online games, and did not know about online gambling.

"I don't interfere and I don't know anything about online gambling. So this is just a misunderstanding," said Amanda after undergoing an examination.

The soap opera actor "Ikatan Cinta" also admitted that he had never played online games that he promoted. The job of promoting online games is obtained through the manager.
