JAKARTA - Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF/Dengue) cases are still a concern for the health of the Indonesian people today. Everyone in Indonesia is at risk of contracting without seeing the age, where they live, and lifestyle.
One of the people who had died from this disease was the daughter of the second psychologist Tika Bisono, Janika Ramdanti Putri in 2007. Tika welcomed the newly discovered dengue vaccine. She was lined up to be the Dengue Prevention Ambassador.
Tika Bisono is willing to become an ambassador because considering the condition of her daughter before leaving forever. He admitted that his daughter's departure made him seem'missed'.
"He was hit in just 3 hours, from the infusion 3 hours later he disappeared. SO, like he missed, 'Hah my son died?' For 3 hours. While his brother was in the same room," said Tika Bisono in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 27.
According to the 62-year-old woman, everything happened so quickly. Previously, Janika had taken medicine for 3 consecutive days. In fact, Tika forced her child to be tested immediately to find out the real disease.
"It was 3 days of taking medicine. And a third day of dengue detection was also the third day. The only problem was when I always checked. It's up to the doctor to say ‘ Just on the third day checked ’. I want the first day to be tested, the second day tested," he continued.
"Because the speck was also on the third day (emerged). So from the start I haven't found it. But because I parno checked! It wasn't there, the second day checked again, until the third day it turned out to be there," he added.
"Yes, I ended up going to the infusion hospital of all kinds, but yes, when suddenly suddenly suddenly there was a shock attack, the syndrome at that time the hospital was not ready. So it was taken an emergency, the infusion was not just one hand, but two hands, feet, all infusion continued with the big lights to heat it up," he said.
The death of her very young daughter made Tika devastated. She blamed everyone, from the hospital to her own husband for her daughter's departure.
"I don't want to be like that, I (still) blame everyone, especially the hospital that I accuse of malpractice because the treatment is really bad. And there is no place for a child. Finally, I also blame my husband, 'You kill her!', because it's not in their hospital," concluded Tika.
Not wanting to be dissolved in sadness, Tika Bisono wants to actively educate the public about how to control dengue fever. "I've been here since 2007, the government hasn't done anything. This is a really annoying task. But I have to be here, so I'm chasing it in the end," he said.
