Debut Today, RIIZE's First Single Ordered 1 Million Kepings

JAKARTA - Ahead of their official debut, K-pop group RIIZE set an extraordinary record. Their first single, Get A Guitar, has been ordered up to one million copies.

SM Entertainment as the agency announced the good news today, Monday, September 4. The single album, which only contains two songs, received a pre-message of 1,032,144 million copies.

The number of album pre-messages is the number of albums to be produced ahead of release. This number was also obtained through the official website of album sales and the official marketplace in South Korea.

This announcement was made on the day RIIZE debuted, September 4. Previously, they had released a pre-release track titled Memories on August 21.

RIIZE will do a big promotion by holding a showcase titled RIIZING DAY: RIIZE Premiere today to celebrate their debut. The single album Get A Guitar will have two songs, namely Memories and the song Get A Guitar.

Since it was announced, RIIZE received a positive response in which their Instagram account reached 1 million followers even though they had not officially debuted. They also performed at the KCON LA 2023 concert in Los Angeles and were well received by the audience.

RIIZE was also appointed as the brand ambassador of Musinsa and UIQ before their debut, which also added to their achievements.

RIIZE consists of seven members consisting of Shotaro and Sungchan who became former members of NCT, Eunseok and Seunghan from SM Rookies, as well as Anton, Sohee and Wonbin.

Their debut album will be available starting today, Monday, September 4 and the music video.
