JAKARTA - Bang Ye Dam shared his latest news. He was confirmed to join a new agency after leaving TREASURE and YG Entertainment in 2022.

Today, Thursday, August 24, Bang Ye Dam shared his latest upload on Instagram while sharing the news. He will join GF Entertainment, the agency that houses the KINGDOM group.

Hello, this is Bang Ye Dam. I joined the new agency, GF Entertainment," wrote Bang Ye Dam.

"I thank all TREASURE MAKARS for supporting me since I started promotions with TREASURE," said Bang Ye Dam, referring to the previous group name.

He also thanked YG Entertainment for supporting him so that he could develop into a soloist to date.

"I thank YG Entertainment for allowing me to grow in a long time and make me what I am today," he said.

"I will promote in various ways in the future, so please look forward to it. Thank you," concluded Bang Ye Dam.

Bang Ye Dam was one of the K-pop contestants for Star 2 in 2012. After competing, Ye Dam joined YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk's agency who was one of the judges at the event.

Although not yet debuted, Ye Dam has appeared in several events such as Winner TV, Stray Kids, to the YG Future Strategy Office which airs on Netflix. Then, he participated in the YG Treasure Box event and was ranked first to debut in the group.

Before inaugurating his debut, Bang Ye Dam released a solo single titled WAYO. YG Entertainment revealed the release of this single as a form of appreciation to fans who are looking forward to Ye Dam's debut for seven years.

In November 2022, Bang Ye Dam terminated his exclusive contract and left TREASURE and YG Entertainment. The agency explained that Ye Dam wanted to focus on a career as a producer.
