DO EXO Stuck On Moon Alone In The Moon's Movie

JAKARTA - The collaboration between DO EXO and director Kim Yong Hwa is back in the film The Moon. This science fiction genre film is the second-news work after meeting in the Together With the Gods film franchise.

EXO's DO plays astronaut Hwang Sun Woo who is a former Navy soldier and graduate of molecular physics. He was selected as one of the astronauts on a flight mission as the youngest member.

But one day the solar wind struck the spacecraft and killed its fellow astronaut. Hwang Sun Woo remains the only astronaut who is still alive and is looking for ways to survive in space.

Apart from DO EXO, there is Sol Kyung Gu who plays Jae Guk, the former director of the space center who returns to save Hwang Sun Woo.

Set the film is so amazing that you can think you're actually on the moon. The moon here is very realistic so there are no difficulties in acting, the story of the man who is also known as Doh Kyungsoo.

When he accepted this offer, DO admitted that he was a little depressed because he had a small role in Along With the Gods but then he became the main character in The Moon.

"In the Together With the Gods franchise, my role is not something important, so I feel pressured by The Moon's offer. But I think I have to work hard, because the director already believes in me," he told the Herald.

"I'm curious about the results because there are a lot of amazing things. I think, it's clear that this is from director Kim Yong Hwa," he said.

Separately, Sol Kyung Gu also expressed his admiration for The Moon. With the extraordinary CGI, he felt this film could be enjoyed in theaters for a magnificent experience.

"If you watch it on the big screen, you'll see space, it feels like running on the surface of the moon, flying, and floating in space," said Sol Kyung Gu.

The film The Moon will air in all Indonesian cinema networks starting August 9, 2023.
