JAKARTA - Netflix released the first teaser for their latest thriller series, Mask Girl. The new title from South Korea was first announced on Netflix Tudum in 2022.

The one-minute teaser shows a woman wearing a mask. Every day he broadcasts live and greets online fans who reap popularity and benefits.

This masked woman had an adorable voice and greeted the audience while asking, 'Am I beautiful?' but the atmosphere of the video changed when a tragic incident occurred.

At one moment, this woman saw a woman die with a knife in her hand. The mystery of the case begins with the identity of a masked woman who has not been revealed.

Mask Girl tells the story of Kim Mo Mi (Go Hyun Jung), an office employee who has dreams of becoming a celebrity. Living in everyday life, she finds something that turns her after becoming an online streamer as a Mask Girl.

Kim Mo Mi always wears a mask to broadcast live so that her real identity is never revealed. But on the other hand, Kim Mo Mi was dragged into various murder cases that threatened her life.

Kim Mo Mi has a co-worker named Joo Oh Nam (Ahn Jae Hong) who harbors feelings of love for Mo Mi. Like Kim Mo Mi, Joo Oh Nam also has a sense of insecurity with her appearance and enjoys Kim Mo Mi's live broadcast.

Until one day, Joo Oh Nam was dragged into the murder case with Kim Mo Mi. In the teaser, Kim Kyung Ja (Yeom Hye Ran) also appears who asks for help on the internet.

In addition to the three, this drama also stars Nana, Choi Daniel, Lee Jun Yong and others. This drama was written and directed by Kim Jong Hoon who worked on the film Beasts Clawing at Straws in 2020.

The Mask Girl series totaled seven episodes and was released on August 18 on Netflix.
