Getting A Good Welcome, Akri Yakin Patrio Can Return To Appear On TV

JAKARTA - During Ramadan, the comedy group Patrio again appeared entertaining with its complete formation, Parto, Akri and Eko. However, their performance is still limited to appearing through the YouTube platform.

Akri said that his appearance on EKO PATRIO TV's YouTube channel was the first step for his group to penetrate the glass screen again.

"It's still (threes active). We're already on YouTube, Parto, Akri, Eko are already on YouTube. We'll just have to wait for the TV station, hopefully," said Akri to the media crew in Depok, Tuesday, April 25.

The man who was recently busy with his da'wah activities admitted that Patrio had been contacted by the television station. He also handed over the matter to Eko, who he considered more clever in communicating with television stations.

"God willing, there are two television stations that want to try (Patrio's contract). Ask Eko already, Eko is the merchant," said Akri.

For the concept of the program he chose, if it was true that he would return to appear on TV, Akri preferred the talk show concept by inviting guest stars in every episode. He felt that Patrio's concept when appearing on TV in the 1990s was no longer relevant at this time.

"What's the concept like? It's like a talk show. Just presenting resource persons, that's all. The funny thing is it's not like that before, running around," he said.

Regarding his return to the entertainment world, Akri felt there were no problems. Moreover, his one-frame friends are Parto and Eko, two people he has known well for a long time.

"It's still fun. Yesterday I tried it on YouTube, I took off my costume, sarong, koko, wearing Patrio's shirt, Alhamdulillah, the response was still good," said Akri.

"This is not a new world for us. If there is a camera, immediately play. Sure you still find the funny things," he concluded.
