5 Years Of Vacuum, What's Radiohead's New Plan? This Says Drummer Phil Selway

"JAKARTA - Radiohead will reunite earlier this year," said drummer Phil Selway.

Radiohead's last studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool was released in 2016. While their last tour was in 2018. That is, they have been on hiatus for almost five years.

In 2021, the band released KID A MNESIA, a multi-three album celebrating their Kid A and Amnesiac recordings, along with a third rare disk and a B-side called Kid Amnesiae.

Meanwhile, this year, 2023, their two-decade full album Hair To The Thief. Talk to Spin about Radiohead's plans for 2023 and whether they're going to celebrate the album with a birthday edition, Selway said.

"We are very focused on the whole thing Kid A/Amnesiac, and I think it comes to its natural conclusions, returns through re-isolation and [creating] the scenario of the game around it," Selway said.

"We'll get together in early [2023], and I'm sure we'll start looking for other ideas for what's going to happen next.THil To The Thief - it's been a long time since the tape, isn't it?"

Last summer, Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien discussed the band's future by saying: "It might happen, but another thing is... maybe not. And does that matter?

"Currently there is no Radiohead," he added. It's true what we did, so we won't be one of the bands that get together to get paid a lot."
