JAKARTA - Artist Nikita Mirzani recently underwent surgery at Premier Bintaro Hospital, South Jakarta on Friday, January 6. The operation to repair damage to his spine lasted 1 hour 20 minutes.

In the operation, dr. Omar Luthfi, Sp. OT said that to overcome the problem of Nikita's neck bone, a pen was installed between the bones number 5 and 6. This pen is used to restore the height of the bearing on the neckbone and also serves as a medium to unify the bones number 5 and 6, said Omar Luthfi when met at Premier Bintaro Hospital, South Tangerang on Friday, January 6.

Omar also stated that Nikita's operation was not a big operation. If we look at the actual operating wound, it is actually small, approximately 3-4 cm. But this includes sophisticated surgery, not large surgery, small wounds but the effect on the patient is very heavy," he said.

Seven hours after the operation, Nikita was reported to have regained consciousness and is in excellent condition. The pain he had previously complained about, now he doesn't feel it anymore. If there is no significant complaint, Nikita will be able to return home tomorrow.

In general, Omar stated that Nikita's operation did not have a serious impact. In the near future, Nikita will be able to carry out her daily activities as usual.

"For my own recovery, actually after returning home, Mba Niki wants to carry out any activities, it's okay, just to really recover for about 1 to 1.5 months. There is no problem with daily activities," said Omar.

For the next few moments, Nikita will undergo several series of physiotherapists to ensure that her neck bone is no longer problematic.

Omar also appealed to several things that Nikita had to pay attention to. There is no special challenge. Only after this, we will definitely educate Mba Niki. For example, when you look at a cellphone or laptop, the sitting position must be upright, you can't bend frequently. Later we will slowly educate," he said.
