The Removal Of Aliando Syarief And Natasha Wilona When Married Young In Argantara Film

JAKARTA - The Argantara film, starring Aliando Syarief and Natasha Wilona, provides education about the risk of early marriage. This film by Hitmaker Studios, tells the story of Argantara (Aliando Syarief), the head of the Agberos motorcycle gang, who married young at the age of 16 with Syira (Natasha Wilona). Syira then got pregnant before graduating from school.

Argantara film producer Rocky Soraya said the issue of early marriage which became a big theme in Argantara was an education and reminder for teenagers.

"The story is that 16 years and married but not ready, because there are many things that we are actually not ready for. They have to grow up quickly, their different properties, the guy likes brawls, the others are good. So it's not easy to have an early marriage," said Rocky at a press conference in Jakarta, Saturday.

Argantara is an adaptation of the best-selling novel with the same title by Falistiyana, directed by Guntur Soeharjanto.

Guntur admitted that he had a big challenge when working on the film. One of them is how the Argantara story can be suitable and relevant to today's era.

"Making teen films is not easy, I ask a lot of questions about the lives of teenagers, how can the communication of today's children be related, how do they convey roles like that. I hope to educate and have elements of kindness," said Guntur, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, December 19.

Argantara tells the life of Syemia, a 16-year-old high school student who suddenly changes when she gets married to Argantara, a recalcitrant student she hates at school and also the head of the Agberos gang.

Their opposite nature and attitude made their household full of quarrels. Arga was often not at home because his gang friend was killed during a massive brawl with another gang named Baron.

Argantara and Syera's marriage was kept secret from school. None of their friends know. They have to be careful because if this secret is exposed, they can be expelled from school.

However, Syira is pregnant. How long can their secret be stored? Is marriage and pregnancy with all their responsibilities something they can live with at the age of 16?

This film has a strong story, not only teenage conflicts but also family conflicts and friendship that are so strong that they are close to the reality of metropolitan life.
