Filled with twists, turns, screams, and even laughter, Rock Star Hitman is a cult thriller that has readers fluttering.

"I've always wanted to write fiction, and The Sledge Chronicles provided the perfect platform to launch the first series of this book. I thought I should start close to home with rock n 'roll as the main character and expand the global exploitation from there," said Ellefson was quoted from Blabbermouth, Friday.

David's published literary work is for sale along with four non-fiction titles with two of his memoirs; More Life With Deth (Jawbone Press, 2019) and My Life With Deth (Howard / Simon & Schuster, 2014), a self-published lyrics and poetry of Unsung: Words & Images (Blurb, 2012) and the book Making Music Your Business… A Guide For Young Musicians (Hal Leonard, 1997).

Released through The Ellefson Book Co., The Sledge Chronicles: Rock Star Hitman was written by Ellefson with musician, filmmaker and actor Drew Fortier, who is known for his work with artists such as Bang Tango, Chuck Mosley (Faith No More) and Zen From Mars. Fortier also released his autobiography; Dark, Depressing, And Hilarious in 2018.

The collaboration between Ellefson and Fortier also produced an independent horror film titled Dwellers, which was based on rare recordings. The film, which was written and directed by Fortier - who also starred in the film - and produced by Ellefson through Ellefson Films will be released next year.
