Taylor Swift Steps Back From Evermore Release For The Sake Of Paul McCartney

JAKARTA - Singer Paul McCartney provides the latest facts about his album, McCartney III. One of them is Taylor Swift, who postponed the release of the Evermore album for the Beatles member.

Taylor Swift releases Evermore album on Friday, December 10 while McCartney releases McCartney III album on Friday, December 18. This was done so that the release of the two did not collide.

Speaking to The Howard Stern Show, Initially, they met to be the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. At that time Swift said to McCartney, "I didn't tell anyone, but I have a new album."

"And he (Taylor Swift) said, 'I'll release it on my birthday," continued Paul McCartney.

But Taylor Swift saw Paul McCartney due to release an album on December 10 so Swift pushed back to December 18. But when Swift saw the date change to December 18, she re-released on December 10.

"I mean, you know, people keep seeing each other. This is a good thing to do."

Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney met for the cover of Rolling Stone and Swift took the initiative to invite McCartney to sing Shake It Off at Glastonbury 2020. It is known that both of them made headlines for this year's event before Glastonbury was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paul McCartney will release the McCartney III album which will be a continuation of the McCartney II album in 1980.
