JAKARTA - Heroes' Day is celebrated every 10 November. The Nidji band invites the younger generation to keep thinking positively and creatively, because now everyone can become a hero for themselves and the environment around them.

"As the younger generation, you still have to be creative, think positively, and stay critical. What I mean now is that all heroes can become heroes. But as long as you don't forget, there are rules to being a hero," said Nidji guitarist, Ramadhista Akbar, as quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, November 10.

"Create positively and also in the right way. Ethics is number one for us in the current generation. Sometimes we like to forget what is called ethics. Even though ethics looks small but the effect is big," continued Rama.

On the other hand, keyboardist Nidji Randy Danistha also reminded the younger generation to make Indonesia proud with positive things and achievements and not to embarrass the country's name.

"We, as the younger generation, basically have to be able to make this nation's name true. Don't be shy about it," said Randy.

For the vocalist Muhammad Yusuf Nur Ubay or who is familiarly called Ubay himself, heroes in the current era don't have to do big things. However, to be a hero, you have to start with yourself.

For example, by continuing to learn, wanting to grow, and being grateful for what has been fought for can also make someone a hero for himself and the circle around him.

"Don't just study there. There are a lot of things that you might just know, right. Because in my opinion, it's a bit deviating from the meaning of the word hero, today's children should be able to learn more and develop even more," said Ubay.

"Keep what you have got. If you can, there must be progress and the last one must always be balanced. You must be grateful for how far you have fought," he concluded.
