Henry Cavill Withdraws From The Witcher 4, Replaced By Liam Hemsworth

Actor Henry Cavill has declared his resignation from the production of The Witcher series which is entering its fourth season. As the main star, his position will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt. Netflix together with Henry Cavill released a statement. This decision was made after the results of a long discussion between the two parties. My “ Travel as Geralt of Rivia is filled with monsters and adventure. I will put my medal and sword for the fourth season, ” wrote Henry Cavill via his Instagram account. Henry Cavill also gave a message to Liam Hemsworth as Geralt's new actor. In his statement, Liam Hemsworth admitted to being a fan of The Witcher series. He also thanked Henry Cavill for his support as a former Geralt actor. “As a fan of Witcher, I felt floating when I received Geralt of Rivia's offer. Henry Cavill is an extraordinary Geralt and I am honored to be able to continue the role, said Liam Hemsworth. “Henry, I've been a fan of you for a few years and inspired by what you put forward through this character. I may have to fill in some parts but I'm excited to join The Witcher world, ” he continued. The Witcher series is producing its third season which airs in the summer of 2023. It is known that the third season will be Cavill's last role as Geralt in the series.
