Two Ex Edane Proclaim ROAX, Enliven Rock Era '90s Through Single Let It Be

JAKARTA - ROAX released their debut single, "Let it be via Greenland Indonesia". This song is wrapped in rock music typical of the 90s era that is embraced with a modern sound.

ROAX is a new project formed two years ago by Robbie Matulandi (vocals), Iwan Xaverius (bass), Mezzo (drums), Bay Guitaro (guitar) and Mono Rockway.

However, recently, Mono Rockway decided to leave and chose to be the band's additional player. He also co-composed the song Let it be with Robbie Matulandi.

The song Let alone tells the story of someone who hopes to return to the past when he was still with his lover.

"A simple story that often happens among young people," said Robbie Matulandi in a written statement received by VOI.

Even though it's a new band, there's no doubt about the ROAX personnel. Robbie Matulandi and Iwan Xaverius are two former personnel of the legendary rock band, Edane.

Meanwhile, Mezzo and Bay Guitaro, have been poor across the Indonesian music scene as session players for a number of bands.
