JAKARTA - Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty's son, Arsy, made an achievement. He reportedly advanced to the semifinals of a singing competition in the United States.
In the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) festival, Arsy performed eight songs from various genres. As a result he was selected to 100 out of 500 participants.
"Alhamdulillah, oh Allah, @queenarsy entered the semifinals. Of the 500 participants who auditioned, 100 were selected. And for the age category, Arsy entered first. And will compete with the age of 5-15 years in the Semi-Finals later..." Ashanty wrote.
Furthermore, Ashanty asked for prayers and support from the public for Arsy's journey to be launched. He also felt amazed by the training process that the child underwent.
"We are all proud of you brother @queenarsy. Seeing Arsy run this competition makes me very proud. How he goes from morning to night, exercises every day, takes care of his food, strengthens his friends, if someone wants to perform he gives encouragement , if there is something good, he praises it, if there is something lacking, he doesn't insult him..” Ashanty said.
"It's things like this that make us want Arsy to take part in all competitions. So that he is mentally strong, wants to accept defeat, wants to accept other people's strengths... and Arsy gets to know many people, and has experience in his career later..." Ashanty continued.
Ashanty reminisced when Anang asked why Arsy wanted to join the singing competition. Even though he has released several songs and became a child singer in Indonesia.
"Arsy's answer: Arsy wants to have experience, wants to meet many friends, wants to know how it feels to win/lose, dad, and the last one is funny, Arsy wants to be able to eat a lot of sweets, if you join, then the singing is good, you want to win If you lose, you will be given candy hehehe," said Ashanty.
Arsy also performed a number of songs according to the genre, including All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor and Jar of Hearts by Christina Perry.
