Last Year Still Celebrating Christmas, Gus Miftah Said Azka Would Soon Convert To Islam Following Deddy Corbuzier

JAKARTA - Gus Miftah is open about the news that Azka Corbuzier will embrace Islam. Deddy did not force his son to embrace Islam because Azka was considered an adult and could determine his own religion.

Even last year, Azka still celebrated Christmas with Deddy and Kalina Oktariani on different occasions. Azka's parents show great tolerance for their differences in beliefs.

After two years of converting to Deddy, it seems that Azka will follow in his footsteps. "It seems that Azka is already settled (converted to Islam). That's why I asked the congregation in front of the congregation to ask for prayer so that God would immediately open his guidance for Azka," said Gus Miftah, launching KH Infotainment, Monday, May 23.

Azka who is an adult is considered to be able to determine his beliefs. However, Deddy and Gus Miftah did not force Azka to embrace Islam.

"Because in principle, Mas Deddy and I will not force him, Azka moved himself because he is an adult, if I'm not mistaken, he is already an adult, so he can determine his own beliefs," explained Gus Miftah.

Furthermore, Gus Miftah also recounted when Deddy Corbuzier said that Azka had been guided enough and planned to embrace Islam in the near future.

"Mas Deddy as a parent is enough to guide me, at that time I asked him, 'how is this bro?' he said 'it's almost, maybe it's these months bro'," explained Gus Miftah.

"Religion is a sacred matter, a matter of belief, so we must be careful there," he added.

Gus Miftah asked the congregation for prayers so that Azka could be given guidance to convert to Islam. Meanwhile, Gus Miftah also wanted to invite Deddy Corbuzier to fulfill the invitation of the Saudi Arabian government.

"I received an invitation from the Saudi Arabian government to carry out the pilgrimage this year by bringing an artist friend who has a lot of followers," said Gus Miftah.

He recommended Deddy Corbuzier and was well received by Deddy. However, it is not yet known whether Deddy will invite Azka.

"I've asked Mas Deddy to join the pilgrimage and he said he was happy. God willing, Mas Deddy is ready," he said.
