Indonesian Cinema Rises, Kuntilanak 3 Wins 1 Million Viewers

JAKARTA - The film Kuntilanak 3 received 1 million viewers as of Friday, May 13, 2022. This figure was obtained after 14 days of screening in Indonesian cinemas.

Kuntilanak 3 tells of Dinda (Nicole Rossi) who experiences something different after returning from Ujung Sedo. Then Dinda went to Mata Hati School to find the answer. However, Dinda finds a secret in the school.

"We are very happy to know that the film Kuntilanak 3 can be well received and enjoyed by Indonesian film audiences, especially to accompany the Lebaran holiday with family," said Amrit Punjabi as producer of Kuntilanak 3.

"We are very happy that finally the Indonesian people have returned to flooding the cinemas after the COVID-19 pandemic," he continued.

Kuntilanak 3 is a complement to the box office prequel Kuntilanak 1 & 2 which aired in 2019. Following the two films, this third story has also received a positive response as the number of viewers continues to grow.

Kuntilanak 3 is directed by Rizal Mantovani and stars a series of child stars such as Nicole Rossi, Andryan Bima, Ali Fikry, Adlu Fahrezy, Ciara Brosnan, and many others.

The number of viewers for Kuntilanak 3 is predicted to continue to grow considering that the film is still showing in theaters.
