Director Park Chan Wook Is Shooting Decision To Leave This October

JAKARTA - Director Park Chan Wook will start shooting for his new film Decision to Leave this October.

Previously, a number of actors and actresses were confirmed to star in this film, including Tang Wei, Park Hae Il, Lee Jung Hyun, Go Kyung Pyo, and Park Yong Woo.

This is the first time for Park Chan Wook to work with Tang Wei, an actress from China. Tang Wei has several South Korean film projects, one of which is Late Autumn .

Decision to Leave tells of Hye Jun (Park Hae Il), a policeman who seeks the truth about the death of a man on the mountain. He suspects that his wife, Seo Rae (Tang Wei) is the mastermind behind the death of her husband.

On the other hand, Hye Jun admires a mysterious woman.

Lee Jung Hyun will play Park Hae Il's wife. Go Kyung Pyo plays the policeman and Park Hye In's relative. Meanwhile Park Yong Woo plays Ho Shin, another man in Seo Rae's life.

The script for Decision to Leave was written by Park Chan Wook and Jeong Seo Kyeong, who previously worked on The Handmaiden script.

Park Chan Wook's success in the international arena makes his work always eagerly awaited by film fans. Decision to Leave is Park Chan Wook's new work after directing the BBC series titled Little Drummer Girl in 2018.
