Rizky Billar Returns Money From Doni Salmanan, Lesti Kejora Doesn't Feel Guilty: Grateful For Giving Sustenance

JAKARTA - Rizky Billar and Lesti Kejora have returned the money given by Doni Salmanan to the Criminal Investigation Police investigator in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 22. Rizky Billar said he was relieved after giving the wedding gift of 10 million rupiah from Crazy Rich Bandung.

Donni is currently being detained as a suspect in multiple articles by the authorities, including money laundering. He carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

According to Lesti, receiving money as a wedding gift is not a mistake. "Who is given sustenance is not grateful? Yes, I'm just grateful because before I didn't know what the background was," Lesti Kejora quoted from ANTARA.

“The point is this, we are friends regardless of who he is, what his background. We're just trying to be good friends regardless of what's reported (afterward)," the soap opera star Jodoh Wasiat Bapak replied.

"Hopefully this incident can make DS brother who is currently in the investigation process become a better person. Even if what is reported is true, hopefully it can be even better,” he added.

Rizky Billar admitted that he never met Doni Salmanan again after receiving a gift of 10 million rupiah in an envelope.

“I feel that I didn't do anything wrong. We as good citizens act cooperatively. We are summoned to the Criminal Investigation Unit. We fulfilled the invitation for questioning," said Rizky Billar.

If the investigator needs additional information, he remains cooperative. Lesti Kejora said her husband was supported by his parents. “(Parents) gave good advice. As a good citizen, you must follow the rules. Just turn the money over, yes, we will return it," he ended.
