Bango Snack Festival Will Enliven The 2022 Mandalika MotoGP Event

JAKARTA - If you are going to watch the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP, be prepared to fill your stomach with a variety of dishes served at the Bango Snack Festival (FJB) at Kuta Mandalika Beach, West Nusa Tenggara on 18-20 March 2022.

Dozens of authentic culinary delights from all over Indonesia can be found in one place, pampering the tongues of visitors who attend the prestigious event of the country's pride, MotoGP Mandalika 2022.

Bango and FJB became the government's Presenting Partners to introduce Indonesian cuisine at the Moto GP Mandalika 2022 grand event. FJB Mandalika 2022 presents 6 legendary culinary vendors from various parts of Indonesia and 27 local culinary SMEs typical of West Nusa Tenggara whose delicious dishes are well known.

One of the legendary culinary vendors who will be attending FJB Mandalika 2022 is Ratna Dwikora, the founder of Mie Aceh Seulawah.

“Since 1996, the key to the deliciousness of our dishes lies in the use of thick-textured noodles that are prepared by themselves, and 24 types of spices imported directly from Aceh. Having been a member of the FJB extended family since 2006, we are proud to be a part of the historic FJB Mandalika 2022. For that, we will always maintain the quality of the dishes throughout the event in order to serve only the best for culinary lovers," said Ratna as quoted by Antara.

The same enthusiasm came from H. Sofian Maulani, the third-generation owner of the Taliwang Irama Restaurant, which is already well-known among local foodies and foreign tourists.

“Starting from a simple kiosk, we have continued to develop this restaurant business since 1973 to become one of the most favorite culinary tourism destinations in Lombok. As local residents who hosted the 2002 Mandalika Moto GP, we are very happy to be able to entertain visitors with the authenticity of our dishes at FJB Mandalika 2022. Hopefully this event can make the various culinary pride of the city of Lombok more fragrant and help revive the local economy of Lombok, " said Sofia.

As a symbol of cooperation and the launch of FJB Mandalika 2022, today the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and Bango carried out a procession of releasing a racing motorbike that would bring dishes from representatives of legendary culinary vendors to Mandalika.

On the same occasion, 9 units of food trucks were also dispatched to enliven the Mandalika MotoGP. All food trucks will stop at 4 major cities, namely Jakarta, Solo, Surabaya and will end at Mandalika.
