JAKARTA - The first part of Semesta Satria Dewa, Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca finally shows Rizky Nazar's appearance as Gatotkaca through a teaser trailer. In the short video, it is shown how Rizky Nazar turned into the figure of Ghatotkacha.

Gatotkaca then shot into the air, through the cliffs and then flew high. The film had delayed its release at the end of 2021 and is now ready to be released in June 2022.

Producer of the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca, Celerina Judisari revealed how complicated the filming process was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he felt grateful, during the filming process, no one was involved with COVID-19.

"The Satria Dewa Gatotkaca film is the first film to be shot with a large crew moving out of town in the midst of a pandemic. In the 35 days of production, none of the crew was affected by covid due to strict health protocols. The difficulties experienced were due to various creative adjustments in the field due to the preparation process which was mostly done online and the limited location due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, some action scenes turned out to require a longer shooting time. However, everything can be resolved because of good coordination in the field and the great desire of the cast and crew to give maximum results,” he explained.

The director of Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca film, Hanung Bramantyo, said the same thing about how difficult it is to present a good visual for this film. "To present a modern visual arrangement, we use a lot of CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and Visual Effects which are done seriously and intensely," he explained.

More than 500 points in the film must be done through the CGI process which takes a long time. According to Hanung Bramantyo, the postponement of the broadcast schedule provides a good opportunity to maximize the editing process.

"We have been given the opportunity to edit longer. So we take the positive. Because this film requires CGI accuracy. Not to mention the exciting battle parts that must be made in detail so that the audience can enjoy the thrill of the story from the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca," said Hanung.
