JAKARTA - The video of Dorce Gamalama asking for help from Megawati Soekarnoputri was uploaded by lawyer Hotman Paris on Wednesday, January 19. He was seen lying down and begging for help sincerely.

"I once comforted Megawati's mother before she became vice president, after she became president. I asked Megawati or her staff for help," said Dorce Gamalama.

"Mom, help me, Mom, help me to get treatment. Ask for help, ma'am. Thank you, Mrs. Megawati, Assalamualaikum," he concluded.

Hotman also added a photo caption next to the upload. "Dorce Gamalama!???? Oh someone's fate tomorrow no one knows!! Oh life," wrote Hotman Paris.

The video then went viral and made netizens touch their hearts. Many expect Megawati to pay attention.

Less than 24 hours, Megawati Soekarnoputri finally gave assistance to Dorce Gamalama. This can be seen in Dorce Gamalama's Instagram. Dorce Gamalama thanked Megawati for getting Megawati's attention.

"Assalamualaikum to Mrs. Megawati who has contributed to me, may Allah give mercy to mother, may mother stay healthy, live long and always be blessed," said Dorce Gamalama on his Instagram.

Prior to Megawati, many parties had provided assistance to Dorce Gamalama. Jokowi is reported to have given a love rope to Dorce, although the amount is unknown.
