JAKARTA - A surprising story about the case of the uterus that was shared by Dr. Gia Pratama in Raditya Dika's YouTube content has returned to a hot topic on social media. The story that was considered unreasonable by many people actually happened when he was on duty at the ER at Dr. Slamet Garut Hospital.

According to Dr. Gia, the incident began in the middle of the night when a man came to the ER carrying a black plastic bag. When examining his contents, he was surprised because the bag turned out to contain uterine organs.

"Masha Allah, this is the uterus. Which one owns?" asked Dr. Gia to the man.

Not long after, a mother came in a very weak condition. Her face was pale, and her blood pressure was only 70/0. The mother admitted that she had just given birth with the help of a child shaman.

After the baby is born safely, the placenta that is still attached to the uterus should be allowed to come out naturally. But the process was forced.

He added that the traditional birth attendant could not wait for the natural process so that she forcibly pulled the umbilical cord.

However, this doubt was broken when an obstetrician, Dr. Dr. Christofani Ekapatria SpOG SubspFER, also spoke up. The @purnawansenoaji_dr account re-shared the medical operation carried out by Dr. Gia with Dr. Christofani.

He confirmed the incident and admitted that he took part in handling the patient with Dr. Gia. He even uploaded a photo related to the case 15 years ago.

On the other hand, the doctor and health influencer, Dr. Tirta, also commented. He understands the position of Dr. Gia who received scorn from colleagues because he had experienced the same thing.

"These senior doctors don't learn from experience. If something goes viral, they are reactive and busy sarcastic. They don't try to be critical." said Dr. Tirta through Threads.
