Welcoming The 68th Anniversary, This Bank Holds Various Health Services To Improve The Quality Of Community Life

Welcoming the 68th Anniversary of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is holding free health checks, free blood donation, and free cataract operations. These various activities in the health sector are a form of gratitude for companies that have served customers and the people of Indonesia for almost 7 decades.

BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja revealed that his party is committed to continuing to play an active role in creating a better quality of life for the community, through various activities in the health sector.

"We believe that we can always grow with the community, strengthen their welfare, and encourage the creation of inclusive and sustainable economic growth," he said in an official broadcast received by VOI.

The free health checks that were held this year were held in two different locations, namely Balai Warga RW 02 Duri Utara, West Jakarta on February 18, and Klinik Bakti Medika, Mangga Dua, Central Jakarta on February 19. All participants received health checks including detection of hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, and uric acid. Participants identified as having the disease will receive initial treatment in the form of administering drugs and health counseling to prevent complications.

In addition, there is also an eye examination and giving free reading glasses to 100 health check-up participants in North Duri. The provision of free reading glasses is expected to support the productivity of the local community who experience close-range vision problems.

This free health check program aims to advance the quality of public health in order to build a better future. Until 2024, there are more than 4,700 people who have received free health checks.

For blood donation activities, in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) will hold these activities on February 27 and 28. BCA will also carry out free cataract operations social services in 4 provinces in 2025. This activity is carried out to help reduce the prevalence of blindness due to the disease in Indonesia and restore patient independence so that they can return to productivity.

BCA Expoversary Coming Back!

Still in celebration of the 68th Anniversary, BCA will again hold the 2025 BCA Expoversary at ICE BSD City, Tangerang Regency, February 20-23. Visitors to the 2025 BCA Expoversary have the opportunity to enjoy free health check services such as blood sugar checks at any time, cholesterol, gout, and body mass index (BMI) in the Bakti BCA area at the event.
