JAKARTA - The distribution of home ownership loans (KPR) for the liquidity facility for housing financing (FLPP) continues to show a positive trend amid the government's efforts to reduce housing backlogs.
One of the indicators is seen from the plan for a mass contract of 62,000 subsidized houses held simultaneously in various regions in Indonesia.
The mass marriage is planned to be carried out by the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) together with the Ministry of Housing and Settlements (PKP) which is centered in Batang Regency, Central Java, at the end of this month.
This was revealed by BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho in his remarks at the inauguration of the new BP Tapera office at Graha Mandiri, Jakarta, Thursday, July 16.
"We want to inform you that Insyaallah in two weeks we will have an extraordinary activity in accordance with the instructions of the Minister (Maruarar Sirait) to hold mass KPR FLPP activities of 62,000 simultaneously throughout Indonesia and will be held in Batang Regency, Central Java Province, on July 30," said Heru.
Heru added that the mass contract would be carried out at 115 points simultaneously and centered in Batang Regency, Central Java Province.
According to Heru, President Prabowo Subianto will directly attend the location of the mass marriage.
"Please support the support of the developer association so that when the mass contract of 62,000 (houses) is carried out at approximately 115 points throughout Indonesia and God willing, it will be attended by the President," he said.
"It becomes a marker of subsidized houses that are increasingly lit, helping low-income people have their first home in a decent and affordable way," he continued.
On the same occasion, Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait (Ara) said that FLPP is not a new program and has existed since 2010.
In fact, Ara claimed that the distribution of FLPP KPR in the era of President Prabowo Subianto's leadership was the largest, reaching 278,000 units in 2025.
"Until 2023, the largest is 229,000 (units) distribution through the FLPP scheme. Only one year after President Prabowo took office, he was able to make a huge leap (distribution of FLPP KPR) from 229,000 (units) in 2023 to 278,000 (units) in 2025," he said.
However, Ara did not deny that BP Tapera now has a fairly heavy task to achieve the target of distributing 350,000 units of FLPP by the end of 2026.
"As of today, (distribution of KPR FLPP) 102,900 units. This is July. So, BP Tapera has a tough challenge to be able to surpass last year," explained Ara.
"I will also meet with the Minister of Finance as the Chairman of the Tapera Committee again next week, Thursday, July 23, 2026," he continued.
With the inauguration of the new office, Ara hopes that BP Tapera's performance can be better than before.
"I ask that it be prepared. I see the office is good, so I hope its performance will be better. So, this is not the time for us to be relaxed, this is the time to work hard, to make breakthroughs in accordance with the governance," he concluded.
