JAKARTA - PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) recorded electricity energy production of 66,919 GWh throughout 2025. PT PLN (Persero) subsidiary has also managed to optimize the Cost of Production (BPP) by 11.4 percent.

PLN Nusantara Power President Director Ruly Firmansyah said this achievement was obtained through the management of a more optimal energy mix, so that it was able to increase the efficiency of generation while making a real contribution to strengthening the national electricity system.

In terms of plant reliability, he continued, the achievement of Equivalent Forced Outage Rate (EFOR) at the PLTU which succeeded in exceeding the target. This achievement shows the increasing readiness and reliability of PLN NP power plant units in supporting a stable, reliable, and quality national electricity supply.

PLN NP also continues to support the PLN transformation agenda through the Green and Lean program. One form of implementation is the carbon emission reduction program which has succeeded in achieving 1.46 percent or equivalent to 110 percent of the target in 2025. This achievement is part of PLN NP's commitment to supporting energy transition and more environmentally friendly power generation management.

Apart from the main business of providing electricity, PLN NP also recorded positive performance in the non-electricity sector through Beyond kWh revenue or revenue outside electricity sales of IDR 1.1 trillion or 160 percent of the target of IDR 688 billion. This revenue comes from various business lines, including international projects in Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Timor Leste. This achievement shows the growing confidence of the global market in PLN NP's competence in managing cross-country energy projects.

On the other hand, PLN Nusantara Power also strengthens its portfolio of power plants through the development of power plants with a total capacity of 696.9 MW spread across various regions of Indonesia.
