JAKARTA - This year's school holidays are a momentum that is more friendly for the public to travel and explore various regions in Indonesia. PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) supports the government's stimulus program by presenting a discount on the crossing transportation tariff on a number of strategic national routes during the 2026 school holiday period.

Through this policy, service users will receive a 100% discount on the port service tariff, which on average is equivalent to 21.9% of the total crossing ticket tariff. The program is valid for travel with departure schedules from June 20 to July 5, 2026, while ticket reservations can be made starting June 6, 2026.

President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Heru Widodo, emphasized that this step is a real form of synergy between ASDP and the government in maintaining people's purchasing power while strengthening inter-regional connectivity during the holiday season.

"ASDP welcomes and fully supports the government's stimulus program to increase community mobility and encourage the movement of the national economy. We hope that this policy can help people enjoy a more comfortable, safe, and affordable journey during the school holidays," said Heru, in a statement, Sunday, June 7.

The policy refers to the letter from the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Number PR.501/1/4/ORJD/2026 regarding the Notification of Implementation of Discount Transportation Tariff for Crossing during the 2026 School Holidays.

The stimulus program is applied to 14 ports that serve seven strategic national routes, namely Merak-Bakauheni, Ketapang-Gilimanuk, Lembar-Padangbai, Kayangan-Poto Tano, Tanjung Uban-Telaga Punggur, Ajibata-Ambarita, and Sape-Labuan Bajo. This policy includes services for pedestrian passengers as well as Group II and Group IVA vehicles to support the smooth mobility of people between regions.

Especially for the Merak-Bakauheni route, the tariff stimulus is applied to both regular economic and Express services. The presence of this policy is expected to provide more efficient and affordable travel options on one of the busiest crossing routes in Indonesia.

Must Buy Online Tickets

ASDP Corporate Secretary, Windy Andale, explained that all ticket purchases were made online through the Ferizy application and the official website trip.ferizy.com to ensure that the service process runs more practically and orderly.

"In line with the implementation of electronic tickets, we urge the public to make reservations well before departure. Early travel planning will help users get a schedule according to their needs while avoiding congestion during the peak period of school holidays. We also remind users to have a ticket before arriving at the port so that the travel process goes more smoothly, safely, and comfortably," said Windy.

Windy added that users who need more information about the discount crossing tariff program can access the official ASDP social media channel on Instagram through the @asdp191 account. Through this channel, users can obtain the latest information, program details, and assistance services related to the mechanism and conditions for the implementation of discounts.

As a national crossing operator, ASDP continues to be committed to supporting the government's policy in strengthening inter-island connectivity, facilitating logistics distribution, and providing increasingly inclusive and sustainable transportation services for all Indonesian people.
