JAKARTA - PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (Persero) or DSI will soon have a more complete management structure. The plan is that a number of names will be announced next week.
This was conveyed by the Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Management Agency (BP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, at a press conference, at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta, Sunday, May 31.
Currently, DSI has only announced one name in the board of directors, namely Luke Thomas Mahony who serves as President Director.
"God willing, hopefully next week there will be several more names announced by Danantara to be part of the team," said Dony.
According to Dony, the selection process for other candidates is still ongoing and is carried out strictly to ensure that the company is run professionally.
"So we ensure that the company that is formed will later run transparently and can be supervised by all Indonesian people," he said.
In addition to preparing human resources, Danantara is also developing a technology system that will be used in DSI operations. This system is expected to be able to support the management of the export of natural resource commodities in a transparent and accountable manner.
"Of course, the hope is that this is a great trust entrusted by the Indonesian people to manage our natural resources to provide maximum benefits," said Dony.
For information, DSI will begin entering the transition period of managing the export of strategic natural resources commodities on June 1, 2026. In the initial phase, commodities included in this scheme include crude palm oil (CPO), coal, and ferro alloys.
