PT KAI Catat KA Lebaran 2026 Terjual 1,58 Juta Tiket, Masih Tersedia 2,2 Juta Kursi

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded as many as 2.2 million or about 59 percent of the 2026 Eid Transport tickets in the moment of welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 Masehi are still available for the public to order.

KAI Corporate Communication Vice President Anne Purba said that as many as 1.58 million tickets for the 2026 Lebaran Transportation had been sold as of Saturday, February 21.

According to Anne, the public still has a great opportunity to get their favorite travel schedule, including with the special 30 percent tariff incentive during Lebaran.

"In the period from March 14 to 29, 2026, a tariff incentive of 30 percent is available as part of the government's policy to support community mobility during Lebaran," Anne said in a statement in Bandung, West Java, quoted by Antara.

Ane said that the tickets that had been sold showed that the ticket occupancy for the departure period from March 11 to April 1, 2026, had only touched 40.87 percent of the total 3,872,810 seats provided.

Until now, the peak of the temporary homecoming flow is predicted to occur on March 23, 2026 with sales reaching 114,113 tickets, followed by March 24, 2026 with 112,758 tickets.

Long-distance economy trains such as the Airlangga train (Pasar Senen-Surabaya Pasarturi) and the Serayu train (Pasar Senen-Purwokerto) are the primadona with the highest number of customers.

Anne urged prospective passengers to immediately make reservations through official channels such as the Access by KAI application or the kai.id website to avoid fraud and ensure the security of transactions.

"We urge customers to plan their trips early. If the date of choice is starting to be crowded, customers can consider alternative departures or use the connecting train scheme," he said.

For people who run out of tickets on certain dates, Anne added that his party advised finding alternative dates outside the peak period (peak days) so that they can still get comfort during the homecoming trip.
