JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) guarantees the availability of excise stamps in 2026 as part of efforts to maintain the smooth running of the excise payment process and support the stability of the tobacco products industry (HT) and beverages containing ethyl alcohol (MMEA).

Meanwhile, excise stamps in 2026 can be ordered starting December 2025 and can be taken starting January 2026.

As of December 9, 2025, 24.3 million excise stamps have been ordered for HT excise stamps and 310 thousand MMEA excise stamps.

In maintaining the continuity of the provision of excise stamps, the number of excise stamps in 2026 which will be submitted in December 2025 (using DIPA 2025) will reach approximately 8.75 million shares or a double increase compared to the previous amount (excise tax in 2025 with DIPA 2024).

Perum PERURI as the leader of the Excise Band Printing Consortium is also committed to continuing production outside of what will be submitted in December 2025, which will be carried out in stages to Customs and Excise starting January 2, 2026.

Total excise stamp orders for 2025 reached 177.6 million pieces for excise stamps for HT and 3.8 million for excise stamps for MMEA.

For the HT excise band, the total amount is dominated by excise stamps for hand-kretek cigarettes (SKT) of approximately 54 percent and machine kretek cigarettes (SKM) of approximately 41 percent.

Meanwhile, from the point of view of entrepreneurs' production capabilities, Group I dominated with approximately 45 percent, then Groups II and III were 26 percent each.

For the MMEA excise band, domestic production results still dominate with approximately 94 percent of the total orders.

As for the alcohol content, Group B (alcohol content of more than 5 percent to 20 percent) is the most ordered type, which is approximately 86 percent of the total order.
