WIKA Wins Integrated Service Facility Contract At Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta Worth IDR 917.9 Billion

WIKA succeeded in obtaining a new contract in the form of the construction of the CMU RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta (WIKA)

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) managed to obtain a new contract in the form of the construction of an integrated service facility or Central Medical Unit (CMU) at Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta Hospital worth Rp917.9 billion.

The project began on November 27, 2025 and is targeted for completion in November 2027.

In its construction, WIKA did several works including preparation work, lower structure, upper structure, architecture, interior, mechanical, electrical, electronics, plumbing and site development.

President Director of WIKA Agung BW said that the CMU facilities that were built would include improving services in various strategic units, including Emergency Installation (IGD), blood transfusion units and operating rooms.

Then, there is also an action room including lab paints, intensive inpatient services (ICU), hemodialysis, transplantation and advanced therapy (including research & cell punca) as well as medical check-ups and health tourism services.

According to Agung, the construction of the CMU facility will present new standards for Yogyakarta public health services and its surroundings.

"With integrated and modern facilities, hospitals will be able to reduce referrals outside the region, accelerate handling critical cases, increase service capacity and strengthen the competence of medical personnel," he said in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, November 29.

As the main referral hospital in Yogyakarta and the southern region of Central Java, the development of the facility will provide significant benefits for patients and medical personnel.

CMU RSUP Dr. Sardjito is projected to become a national benchmark in the integration of services, standard facilities and management of modern hospitals.

The project also applies modern hospital building technology and follows national standards related to patient safety, air quality and sterility, medical service flow and readiness to deal with infectious and emergency diseases.

Thus, this development not only increases capacity, but also ensures the quality of safe and sustainable health services.
