Devoteam Announces Expansion To Southeast Asia, Highlights AI Agentics As Motorcycles For Business Growth

JAKARTA Devoteam Indonesia has officially announced plans for business expansion to Southeast Asia starting in 2026.

The technology consulting company from Europe is targeting to enter four countries, namely Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam as demand for digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology in the region increases.

This year, events place AI Agentics, collaborative productivity and cybersecurity as the three main focuss of discussion.

Devoteam Indonesia's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Bagus Saptopo said regional expansion is a strategic step for the company to seize growth opportunities in the ASEAN digital ecosystem.

"This is a strategic step to bring our digital expertise to a wider market and open up a new Devoteam growth phase at the regional level," said Bagus in a written statement received by VOI, Thursday, November 20.

During the meeting, Devoteam highlighted AI's Agentic as the technology that is expected to be the main driver of the company's operational efficiency in the next few years.

This technology is considered capable of accelerating process automation, improving the quality of decision making, and creating more measurable business values.

The launch of Gemini for Enterprise from Google Cloud is the opening of the main session.

CTO Devoteam Indonesia Fauzal Atmodirono leads a discussion on the implementation of AI Agentics which is considered to have now begun to enter a real implementation phase, not just a technology discourse anymore.

The security aspect also received attention through the 'Defending the Future' session which emphasized the importance of building a modern security foundation amid the expansion of AI usage.

Meanwhile, productivity panels discussed how companies began adopting AI-based collaborative tools to increase work efficiency.

The expansion of the four ASEAN countries is Devoteam's strategy to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing cloud and AI markets.

The company sees the Asia Pacific region as a region with a high potential for technology adoption, especially from the financial and telecommunication services sector.

Devoteam's relationship with Google Cloud was also emphasized through the exchange of souvenirs at the end of the event, reflecting the increasingly close collaboration in the development of digital solutions for corporations.
