JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) projects a significant increase in the movement of airplane passengers during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holidays. Where the total number of passengers is estimated to reach more than 9 million people.
President Director of InJourney Airports Mohammad R. Pahlevi said the company recorded predictions that the flow of passenger movements during the Nataru holiday period this year will increase by 3.8 percent.
"The company recorded a prediction of the flow of passenger movements during the Christmas and New Year 2025 to 2026 holidays of 9,035,958 passengers or grew 3.8 percent," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, November 18.

"We are currently preparing to operate an integrated post at the head office, six regional offices, and 37 airports that we manage, from 18 December 2025 to 4 January 2026," said Pahlevi.
To ensure services remain smooth, the integrated post will become a coordination center for all stakeholders, starting from airport authorities, airlines, AirNav Indonesia, BMKG, ground handling operators, TNI' Polri to the Ministry of Health.
InJourney Airports has prepared around 16,000 personnel spread across airports. They include aviation security, ARFF officers, customer service, to digital services and golfcar assistants at a number of airports.
Pahlevi said all airports were alerted to operate 24 hours according to airline needs, anticipating additional flights during the year-end holidays.

Furthermore, Pahlevi revealed five airports that are expected to record the highest traffic during the Nataru period, namely Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang; I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Bali; Sultan Hasanuddin, Makassar; Kualanamu, Deli Serdang and Juanda, Surabaya.
"Through various careful preparations, InJourney Airports will continue to ensure the smooth operation and service of airports during the 2025 Christmas Transport and 2026 New Year periods," he said.
