Nusron Wahid Has Received A Response Letter From The Makassar District Court Regarding Land JK: Not Yet Executed

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid revealed that his party had received a reply letter from the Makassar District Court (PN) regarding land disputes involving former Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK).

"Yes, there has been a reply (PN Makassar). Last night I just got this (the letter)," he said at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 11.

However, he admitted that he still needed to learn more about the contents of the letter because he did not understand the meaning of the answer given by the court.

"It's just that I don't understand what that answer means," said Nusron.

Then, Nuaron read some of the contents of the letter numbered 5533 dated November 7 from the Makassar District Court addressed to the Head of the Makassar City Land Office. In the letter, the court answered a request for clarification regarding the execution of land that was the object of the dispute.

"The matter of clarifying the execution of the honorable Head of the Makassar City Land Office in Makassar. In connection with the letter from the Head of the Makassar City Land Office on November 5, 2025, yes. As such, on the subject of the letter, we question the execution. So we hereby convey that the object of the building use right certificate in the name of NV Hadji Kalla TRD (Trading Company) has not been measured and no execution has been carried out," said Nusron reading the contents of the letter.

Nusron said the reply letter was signed by a representative of the Makassar District Court named Andri Mamudi. However, Nusron emphasized that his party would follow up to ascertain the purpose of the statement.

"The answer is like that. What does it mean, I also don't understand this letter," he said.

Previously, former Vice President HM Jusuf Kalla was furious at the land in the GMTD area, Jalan Metro Tanjung Bunga, which was allegedly played by the land mafia in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"So it's lies and engineering, it's Lippo's game, that's the characteristic of Lippo. So don't play games here, Makassar," said the man called JK in a firm tone while directly inspecting the location of his land, in Makassar.

The general chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) can't believe that someone claims that the land area is 16.5 hectares known to be a fish seller (Manjung Ballang). Even though this land has been owned for a long time.

"Because what was demanded was what his name was (Manjung Ballang). It was a fish seller. The time when the fish seller had this wide land," said JK in an emphasizing tone.

The founder of PT Hadji Kalla emphasized that the land in the management area of PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development (GMTD) was claimed to have been purchased from King Gowa's children, at that time the status of the region was still in Gowa Regency, now Makassar City.

When asked whether there was an alleged case engineering in the land dispute involving PT GTMD, PT Lippo Group and other parties, in this case the late Majjung Balla (citizens) also claimed the land, he said, there was an alleged land mafia game.

"Yes (alleged engineering), Because we have this. There was an order, there was a certificate. It was quickly (finished) it was called a robbery, right. Is it true or not," he told reporters.

JK said that some of the land in the disputed area was bought by the late Hj Najamiah, but later he was deceived. However, the land has been owned by him since 30 years ago before the late Hj Najamiah came to Makassar.

"He hasn't come to Makassar yet, we already have it. At this rate, later the whole city will play like that, robbers like that. If there is a Hadji Kalla who wants to play games, especially with other people," said the Chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council.
