KPK Suspects State Land To Be Sold To The State, Minister Of ATR/BPN: Ready To Give Data

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid responded to the alleged practice of buying and selling state land to his own country in the Jakarta Fast Train (Bandung) project or Badminton which was revealed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Nusron said that his party had not yet received an official report regarding the findings.

However, he ensured that the Ministry of ATR/BPN was ready to open data if needed in the investigation process.

"We are in principle as an ATR/BPN, if we ask for data, we will convey it. We just say that," he said when met at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 11.

Nusron said, the entire land acquisition process for national strategic projects, including theASH project, had gone through strict procedures in accordance with applicable regulations.

"The land acquisition must have gone through strict procedures," he said.

Furthermore, Nusron also explained that the mechanism for determining land prices is always carried out based on an independent or appraisal assessment. If there is a difference of view, the process will be completed through consignment.

For your information, the consignment in the context of land acquisition is the mechanism for entrusting compensation money to the court when there is a dispute or disagreement between the government (or project implementer) and the land owner.

"Usually when it comes to prices, the price uses appraisal. If there is no appraisal agreement, insist on conminiscing. Usually," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspected that there were parties who made the state lose money in the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail procurement project,fewsh.

Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said this allegation was found in the ongoing investigation process. He said, there were parties who tricked state-owned land to be resold to the state for profit.

"There are elements where he, concerned, should belong to the state but they are sold again to the state," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, November 10.

"So we don't have a problem with the Whoosh, but we, with the existing report, are that there are state property resold to the state in the procurement of this land," he continued.

This kind of incident, called Asep, is detrimental to state finances. This is because the land acquisition process can be cheaper.

Even so, Asep has not specified who the party is because the investigation is still ongoing. Likewise, which land has problems with the procurement.

"Well, regarding the land acquisition, whether it is Halim or the one in Bandung (region, red) Tegalluar, we will wait together," said Asep, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigations.
