JAKARTA - In order to strengthen transparency and collaboration, PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) together with PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur Persero (PT SMI) held a Media Gathering with the theme Financing Indonesias Sustainable Infrastructure with the Jakarta Foreign Correspondent Club (JFC) on October 7, 2025 in Jakarta.

This event is an effort for IIF to share views on the development of sustainable infrastructure financing in Indonesia, as well as strengthen communication networks with international journalists under the JFCC.

On this occasion, the President Director of IIF, Rizki Pribadi Hasan said, infrastructure development has grown rapidly and continues to show significant growth.

"IIF not only plays a role in providing financing, but is also responsible for helping clients in identifying potential risks and social and environmental impacts through 8 social & environmental principles IIF," he said, quoted Wednesday, October.

As a catalyst for sustainable infrastructure development, IIF itself has various financing product lines designed to support project needs from various development stages, including seniors and junior loans, equity to advisory services that can help prepare optimal financing structures, improve project feasibility, and ensure the overall application of social and environmental principles.

Since its establishment until 2024, IIF has financed more than 150 sustainable infrastructure projects in various sectors with a nominal value of approximately IDR 42.5 trillion. This achievement reflects IIF's commitment to encouraging inclusive economic growth, as well as strengthening the role of the private sector in supporting the transition to sustainable development in Indonesia.

On this occasion, IIF also highlighted the importance of collaboration between governments, the private sector, and international institutions in realizing resilient and climate-resilient infrastructure. This cross-sectoral collaboration is needed to ensure that economic development can go hand in hand with environmental conservation and improving social welfare.

Through activities such as media gathering, IIF hopes to strengthen global public understanding of Indonesia's commitment to sustainable development, as well as expand opportunities for cooperation with international partners in financing green projects in the country.
