JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development (IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) revealed the progress of the Harbor Road II toll road which is currently being worked on by the construction issuer owned by Jusuf Hamka, namely PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP).

AHY explained that the Harbour Road II Toll Road is part of the National Strategic Project (PSN). Development is targeted to be completed by December 31, 2026, with a construction period of 1,697 calendar days and a maintenance period of 730 days.

"This means that by attending, God willing, this southern route will be used in early 2026 and the north route in 2027," AHY said in his official statement, quoted Monday, September 29.

AHY said the Harbor Road II Toll Road will have a length of about 9.67 kilometers which will connect East Ancol to Pluit. It is hoped that the toll road will facilitate the flow of logistics from and to Tanjung Priok Port.

The Harbor Road II toll road is built with a floating design and is designed to be crossed with a speed standard of 80 km/h, a lane width of 3.5 meters and is equipped with a junction in East Ancol and Pluit, including a ramp link with Harbor Road I.

The progress until June 2025 land acquisition reached 53.6 percent or 209,059 square meters from a total of 390,091 square meters.

Meanwhile, physical construction recorded a progress of 24.9 percent, including the construction of box girders, piers, pile caps to bored piles.

"The investment can be explained around Rp. 15.8 trillion. This project is in the form of an elevated toll road and once again we hope that the transportation sector will be better supported by basic road infrastructure which is also getting stronger. This is what will improve our economy," concluded AHY.

Later, the Harbour Road II Toll Road will be integrated with Tanjung Priok Access (ATP) and the Ir Sedyatmo Toll Road or Soekarno-Hatta Airport Toll Road.
