Bulog Pastikan Akan Serap Gabah Dried Panen Seharga Rp6,500 Per Kilogram

JAKARTA - Perum Bulog ensures that it will carry out the mandate of procurement of grain and rice from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) as stated in letter number 257/TS.03.03/K/9/2025 dated September 18, 2025.

Director of Procurement of Perum Bulog Prihasto Setyanto explained, September to December is the gadu harvest period.

Taking advantage of this moment, as well as a form of commitment to fully support government policies, Perum Bulog is ready to absorb Harvest Dry Grain (GKP) at a purchase price of IDR 6,500 per kilogram.

Absorption is carried out both through the Government Rice Reserve (CBP) mechanism and commercially.

This step is not only aimed at maintaining the availability of national rice reserves, but also ensuring that the price of unhulled rice at the farmer level remains stable and profitable.

"The grain absorbed by Perum Bulog is grain that has entered the age of harvest, so that quality is maintained and farmers get market certainty," he said, quoted on Thursday, September 25.

He added that the implementation of grain absorption will be carried out in various rice production centers throughout Indonesia.

In each stage, Perum Bulog upholds the principles of accountability, transparency, and good governance to ensure that the entire process runs according to the provisions of the legislation.

"Bulog will buy GKP from farmers directly, when the price at the farmer level is the same and or less than Rp. 6,500 per kilogram," continued Prihasto.

With this assignment, he continued, Perum Bulog reiterated his role as the frontline of the government in maintaining national food security.

Optimistic that this year's gadu harvest can provide benefits for farmers while strengthening national rice stocks is the main spirit in the implementation of the absorption of grain.

"Perum Bulog believes that the success of this assignment will be a tangible manifestation of collaboration between the government, farmers, and Bulog in realizing the nation's food independence," he said.
