Sri Mulyani Prepares IDR 83 Trillion For Red And White Kopdes Credit Guarantee To Himbara In 2026

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani said the government would place Rp83 trillion in state-owned banks aka the Association of State Banks (Himbara) in 2026.

This fund will then be used as credit collateral submitted by the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KopDes).

"In this case, the Ministry of Finance will place funds, put funds in Himbara, the funds come from the government of Rp. 83 trillion, we will place them there which will later be used for the access of the cooperatives to borrow," said Sri Mulyani at the RAPBN Press Conference and Financial Note for Fiscal Year 2026 at the DGT Office, Friday, August 15.

He explained that this budget was included in one of President Prabowo Subianto's priority programs in the 2026 State Budget, namely Village Development, Cooperatives and MSMEs.

Sri Mulyani mengatakan, penempatan dana olehnpemerintah ini tetap dilakukan meski Prabowo meminta Himbara untuk mendukung KopDes Merah Putih.

Tak hanya mengalokasikan anggaran, lanjut dia, pemerintah juga aktif mengalokasikan anggaran untuk pembangunan KopDes Merah Putih melalui anggaran Dana Desa.

"Dana desa Rp60,6 triliun yang dipakai juga untuk pembangunan desa dan sebagai penopang untuk pembangunan Koperasi Merah Putih Desa," sambung dia.

Sri Mulyani said that the government's placement of funds was still being carried out even though Prabowo asked Himbara to support the Red and White KopDes.

Not only allocating the budget, he continued, the government is also actively allocating a budget for the construction of the Red and White KopDes through the Village Fund budget.

"Village funds of IDR 60.6 trillion are also used for village development and as a support for the construction of the Village Red and White Cooperative," he continued.
