80 Years Of Free Indonesia, DPR Alludes To Inter-regional Gap

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the DPR Aria Bima touched on the gap between regions that is so visible, especially in the infrastructure sector which has not been evenly distributed. In fact, he said, it has been 80 years since Indonesia's independence.

"If I (see those who are not yet independent) it is more in the economic sector and about social justice. It is about how the gap between regions, which is in Papua, in Maluku, in Aceh, is like this in Java," he said on the sidelines of the annual session of the MPR/DPR/DPD, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Friday, August 15.

In fact, continued Aria Bima, in Kalimantan the people have not felt adequate access to transportation. In addition, the road is also not completely paved.

"In Kalimantan the road is still curved, still not paved, which still has to take days to travel. In my opinion, social justice is one that is needed, as was the case for colonialism to seize justice," he said.

In the 80 years of Indonesia's independence, continued Aria Bima, all people must feel justice. This includes adequate infrastructure.

"Right now, it's how it's fair, not only Java is delicious, but these areas are also experiencing pleasure, and what are the challenges ahead," he explained.

In addition, Aria Bima also mentioned the challenges faced by the Indonesian government today.

According to him, the challenges faced are quite complicated both domestically and internationally.

"I think Pak Prabowo's job is that we hope to be able to solve the problems of the current era. Because 80 years is this point that we can reach 100 years of being an independent nation," he continued.
