JAKARTA A company engaged in palm oil, wood products, and renewable energy, PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG), recorded a net profit in the first semester of 2025 of IDR 915 billion or grew by 80 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy).
President Director of DSNG Andrianto Oetomo said that this achievement was mainly driven by an increase in sales volume and the average sales price (ASP) of CPO.
He said the palm oil segment was still the main contributor to the Company's revenue by 89 percent, followed by 10 percent of wood products, and 1 percent of renewable energy.
Andrianto explained that the increase in CPO sales volume was in line with the increase in fresh fruit bunch production (FFB) which grew 3.9 percent (yoy) to 1.1 million tons.
Meanwhile, he added that the ASP CPO increased to Rp14,575 per kg, an increase of 19.3 percent (yoy), which also raised the Company's profit performance.
"We estimate that the CPO price will last because CPO demand is still quite good, from within the country in line with the implementation of the B40 program, as well as from major export markets such as India and China," he said in his statement, Wednesday, July 31.
In terms of productivity, Andrianto said that the palm oil segment showed positive growth by increasing FFB production from core and plasma plantations. This contributes to the increase in CPO production by 4.9 percent (yoy).
According to him, the quality of palm oil products is also maintained with stable Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and Oil Extraction Rate (OER) levels, respectively at 3 percent and 23 percent levels.
He added that in the wood product segment, the Company's performance continues to improve, along with the recovery of global demand, especially from the United States, Europe, and China.
Andrianto said that until the end of June 2025, DSNG recorded revenue from this segment of Rp. 621 billion or grew 11 percent (yoy).
Furthermore, wood panel products recorded an increase in sales volume by 12.4 percent (yoy) to 62 thousand m3, with ASPs slightly falling 1.4 percent to 358.20 per US dollar/m3.
Meanwhile, engineering flooring products recorded sales volume growth of 5.2 percent (yoy) to 325,000 m2, with ASP rising 10.9 percent (yoy) to 33.72 per US dollar/m2.
Andrianto said that from the renewable energy segment, DSNG posted revenue of Rp. 66 billion, originating from exports of palm and wood pellet shells to Japan, as well as a small portion of domestic sales.
