The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) reported that until now the business identification number expansion program (NIB) in the second quarter of this year has reached 1.4 million registrants.

In detail, based on data from the Ministry of Investment/BKPM through the business licensing system (OSS), 1,445,205 NIB has been recorded in the second quarter. The achievement of the second quarter is equivalent to 83.72 percent of the total target for the issuance of NIB in 2025, which is 2.5 million NIB.

Meanwhile, halal certification in the second quarter reached 654,518 certificates. With the achievement of the second quarter, the total accumulation of halal certificate issuance since 2019 has reached 2,348,061 certificates and includes 6,563,083 products, from the total accumulation.

Based on the type of registration, 97.2 percent of halal certificates are issued through the self-declare scheme, while 2.8 percent is through the regular scheme.

SNI Bina UMK in the second quarter of 2025 was given to 194,401 UMK entrepreneurs, an increase of 105 percent from the first quarter of 2025.
