New KRL From China Officially Operates, Here's The Complete Schedule

JAKARTA - KAI Commuter has operated three new train sets or a series of KRL facilities for Jabodetabek Commuter Line services starting last June 1.

The operation of this new KRL facility serves two series of Bogor routes and one series of Cikarang crossings.

For your information, the new KRL from China officially operates after the safety and feasibility certification by the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation was issued.

KAI Commuter's Public Relations Manager, Leza Arlan, explained that the operation of the three new KRL facilities is a replacement for the current KRL facilities.

For the Bogor cross, continued Leza, this new CLI-125 KRL facility is a 12 (SF12) conformation replacing two series with the same SF, while the Cikarang crossing replaces a series of SF10s.

Furthermore, Leza said that the operation of this new KRL has not been to add to the Commuter Line travel schedule.

"Currently, the operation of the new KRL is to replace three series and the Commuter Line travel schedule in the Bogor and Cikarang routes," explained Leza in an official statement, Monday, June 2.

Leza explained that this new KRL facility replaced 39 Commuter Line trips consisting of 23 travel schedules on the Bogor route.

Starting the departure at 04.00 WIB from Depok Station to Jakarta Kota Station and finally at 22:38 WIB from Bogor Station to Depok Station.

"As for the Cikarang crossing, there are 16 travel schedules from 06.21 WIB from Manggarai Station to Angke Station and finally at 23.59 WIB from Angke Station to Manggarai Station," he said.

Leza added that the average volume of users on the Bogor route is currently 406,211 people per day and on the Cikarang route as many as 221,468 people per day.

"With the operation of these three new KRL facilities, user capacity increased by 14 percent or a total of 132,600 people, previously only 116,412 people on these 23 trips," said Leza.

In addition, Leza reminded users who want to try this new KRL to maintain service facilities.

"For Commuter Line users who will use this new KRL facility, they are advised to maintain service facilities available on the train by not committing vandalism," said Leza.
