JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) is completing the construction of the Persis Islamic University (Unipi) building in Bandung, West Java.
The new Unipi building was built on Jalan Rancamalang, Margaasih, Bandung Regency on an area of 11,000 square meters.
The work consists of two buildings and consists of five floors each with a total area of 15,942 square meters.
In addition to buildings, the scope of the project work also includes the construction of ground water tanks, pump houses, power houses, plazas and parking lots.
The construction of the new Unipi building was carried out by the West Java Strategic Infrastructure Implementation Unit of the Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure of the Ministry of Public Works through contractor PT Waskita Beton Precast with a contract value of IDR 117.1 billion.
Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti said that currently the progress of the development of education infrastructure has reached 41 percent and is targeted for completion in October.
